Road Company Junior Board Application 2018-2019

The Road Company Theater Group, founded in 1976, is a non-profit, 501 (c)3 professional, quality theater company. We are the proud owners of the Grand Theatre located in Williamstown, New Jersey. Our mission is to be a vital force in the cultural development of the surrounding region. Our goal is to sustain the group at the Grand Theatre while continuing to produce more professional quality shows and events.

In order to ensure its mission, the Road Company has developed a Junior Board Committee that will act in support of the Senior Board of Directors. Our hope is that this Junior Board will help establish creative and fresh ideas for progressing the theater company into the future. Although the positions on the Junior Board are 100% volunteer, they do require a great dedication of time and sweat equity. By accepting a position on the Board, you will be agreeing to undertake your responsibilities at the theater with the same dedication and obligation as any other positions you may hold as an employee and/or student. The members of the Junior Board will be mentored and trained in all artistic and technical aspects of the Road Company's productions and operations which include six main stage productions, two summer camp productions, and all special Road Company event and fundraisers.

If you are interested in being a part of the Junior Board, please proceed and apply. You will be committing to a one-year term beginning in September of each year and running until the end of August of the following year. You may be asked to apply each year. All Junior Board members will be expected to abide by the Road Company's By-Laws. You will be contacted by someone from the Road Company within 7-10 business days after completion of the application. If you have not received a response within that time, please send a message to Serious candidates age 17+ should apply. Deadline for submitting is 7/1/2018.
